InterconnecT CABS CG Bill Usage Verification Support Module
InterconnecT CABS CG offers an optional module that can prove invaluable in resolving billing disputes. CABS bills contain summaries of the minutes of use for which the customer is being billed – not the entire detail records. The Bill Usage Verification Support Module provides easy access to the original EMI records that went into the production of a bill. You can query the EMI records online, retrieve the usage records for the invoice in dispute, and save the records to a file. This data is then available to send to the customer electronically. By presenting the customer with an accurate, detailed record of the charges applied to the bill, you can more easily validate the accuracy of the billing.

InterconnecT PREP
InterconnecT PREP is a flexible mediation system that allows you to prepare the event information (call detail records) required for processing within InterconnecT CABS CG. This module acts as a front end to InterconnecT CABS CG, filtering received data, validating it against pre-defined business rules, and reformatting it for CABS processing.

Pre-processing is often required because InterconnecT CABS CG input data may be received from many network elements. The data received must be filtered, validated and formatted to match one of the required input formats, such as EMI. Key information is also sometimes missing or incomplete. Using defined business rules, InterconnecT PREP supplements incomplete information so that InterconnecT CABS CG is able to rate an event successfully.

InterconnecT PREP easily accommodates new and changing business rules, and network elements requiring different sets of rules. The module provides a complete audit trail to ensure that all data received can be traced throughout all processes. This guarantees the reconciliation of records received with the records rejected and records passed through to the InterconnecT CABS CG system.
