RAPID IMPLEMENTATION
As soon as you provide us with your data, we can have your CABS system operational within sixty to ninety days. Features that expedite implementations include:

• Ability to import your network information
• Ready-made tariff and contract structures
• Ability to copy tested templates to create any number of additional accounts

COMPLIANCE WITH INDUSTRY STANDARDS
InterconnecT CABS CG follows standards set by the OBF, including BOS and SECAB specifications, to ensure accuracy and standard presentation of bills to carriers. Intec’s active participation on the OBF ensures that the system continues to meet the standards agreed by the organization.

ELECTRONIC DATA TRANSFERS
Bills can be sent electronically to customers, eliminating the cost and risks associated with sending paper. Access Usage Records (AURs), usage or meet point billing data can be provided to the system with input from tape, diskette, CD-ROM or from data files via File Transfer Protocol (FTP).

LOCATE YOUR REVENUE
InterconnecT CABS CG processes files and records that are essential to finding the revenue you deserve:

• Category 11 call detail records in Exchange Message Interface (EMI) format
• Category 92 records for billing LECS and CLECS for reciprocal compensation

HISTORICAL DATA MANAGEMENT
Information used in developing CABS bills is retained in the InterconnecT CABS CG database for as long as you need it.

EXTRACTING USAGE DETAILS
An optional Bill Usage Verification Support module enables you to extract usage records for which a customer is being billed in case of an audit or dispute.

FORMATTING SWITCH DATA
An optional InterconnecT PREP module, based on Intec’s powerful mediation engine, is available for converting the data from your switch into the standard EMI format used by InterconnecT CABS CG.

REPORTING AND ANALYTICAL TOOLS
One of the key advantages of our client/server design is quick and easy access to business data. In fact, all the information available on the CABS bill is immediately accessible in your system database. Sophisticated drilldown query tools allow you to extract the information necessary to investigate shortages, analyze trends and anticipate shortfalls. An enormous amount of information is available instantly in more than fifty pre-formatted reports.

GENERAL LEDGER TRACKING
General ledger codes provide links to your accounting system. Tracking of revenues can be performed by tariff element or access type, depending on your company’s needs. The tracking can be detailed or summarized as you prefer, and you also have instant availability of all detailed supporting information. In addition, Accounts Receivable features are built into InterconnecT CABS CG. You won’t need a separate system to view the bills you have issued.

ACCURATE RATE SELECTION
InterconnecT CABS CG allows only appropriate rate elements to display for billing, so user errors are far less likely to occur. When the rate elements are built into the system, the elements are categorized so filters can be used to access the appropriate data by type of service.

INCREASED PRODUCTIVITY
InterconnecT CABS CG’s intuitive and easy-to-learn graphical user interface enables you to choose rather than key data, increasing user productivity and eliminating errors. Simply click on an entry in a pull-down menu of valid choices.

LESS REPETITIVE MAINTENANCE
InterconnecT CABS CG performs the majority of the repetitive maintenance work that can consume valuable hours. Relieved of these basic chores, you’ll have more time for analyzing the information that InterconnecT CABS CG makes available and for using it to improve your business.

USABILITY
As you set up your accounts for billing, there are three features that will save you many hours of data entry:

• Required data is entered only once. Later, as you perform necessary procedures, you select the data from drop-down lists.
• Tariff structures are preloaded. Just specify the rates your company uses.
• A copy feature allows you to quickly create a new wire center, account or other entry by copying an existing one and making the required changes to create a new entry.
